Yin Yoga Certification Module

This is a 6-day in-person training module exploring the style of Yin Yoga with longer holds and stretches to increase mobility. In Yin Yoga we move over to the tradition of Daoism, an ancient Chinese philosophy honouring the principles of Tao, to live in harmony with nature and the universe. The practice of Yin Yoga was founded in the early 80s and has since become a beloved style of movement recovery. Ultimately, with Yin we honour slowing down and moving within. Following the waves of sensations as we work with our connective tissue, holding our poses for 3-5 minutes.

This training is included in the 300-hour YTT certificate, to become a certified 500-hour Yoga Teacher.

Within this training module we will explore how to work with the different elements (wood, fire, water, metal and earth) and meridian lines to create meaningful practices to ground, nurture and nourish us.
