Description
Therapeutic Yoga in Practice
Advance your teaching with somatic movement and trauma-sensitive practices and therapeutic touch.
Within this trauma-informed therapeutic yoga training module, we continue to expand our awareness of how trauma and chronic stress land in the body—and how we can support ourselves and our clients in moving through tension in their own way and time. This course deepens your skills as a Yoga teacher and wellness provider by integrating somatic awakening, therapeutic touch, and body-based practices. “Somatic” means through the body, and in this training, you’ll learn how to guide students through specific movements and postures designed to help uncoil deep-seated stress and tension.
Learn how to apply mindful movement, therapeutic postures, and trauma-sensitive adjustments that respect boundaries and empower healing. This module offers both theoretical and hands-on experience with the practices of trauma-informed care and therapeutic yoga.
This training can be taken on its own, or is included as part of the 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training Certificate.
