Therapeutic Yoga in Practice
Furthering your skills as a teacher and wellness provider with somatic awakening and therapeutic touch. Somatic means through the body. Within these practices we learn how to provide specific movements and postures to uncoil the deeper levels of tension we carry. Learning to seamlessly bring these practices to your Yoga classes and with your one on one clients. We couple these teachings with physical adjustments and gentle massage with a trauma-informed lens, honouring the power of touch and the offerings we can provide for our students.
This training is included in the 300-hour YTT certificate, to become a certified 500-hour Yoga Teacher.
Within this training module we will continue to expand our awareness of how trauma and chronic stress land in the body and how we can assist ourselves and our clients move through tension we carry in our own way and time.
