Yoga Philosophy for Advanced Studies
This extensive training in Yoga philosophy will deepen your awareness of Self, develop clarity, focus and increase wisdom. This is Jnana Yoga: the Yoga of wisdom, of deepening our studies and honouring these powerful ancient teachings that have continued to surpass time. The more we know, the more we don’t know. In continuing from our studies in Yoga Foundations and the 8-limbs of Yoga as taught through the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, rather than a step by step plan we move out into the vast unknown. In the Bhagavad Gita we face our own humanity, vulnerability and ignorance honestly and from the heart. We recognize that we are the purpose, our light is the purpose and following our own dharmic path is the ultimate purpose.
This training is included in the 300-hour YTT certificate, to become a certified 500-hour Yoga Teacher.
Within this training module we will explore how to build up to these powerful postures using prep poses, counter poses and plenty of options for all our students.
